The Division hosted a National Consultation on the National Anticorruption Strategy on Friday July 19, 2024. The event was attended by over 80 plus representatives from within the public sector, private sector associations and civil society groups

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the National Irrigation Commission on Friday June 28, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Forestry Department on June 27, 2024. The session also included a delivery on Statutory Declarations by the Information and Complaints Division

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of GC Foster College on June 26, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff and Councilors including the Mayor of the Kingston & St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) on Wednesday June 25, 2024.

The Director delivered a virtual presentation titled “A Nationally Integrated Integrity Commission – The Jamaican Experience” at the 10th Annual CCAICACB Conference on Monday June 10^th 2024.

During the period under review the Director was invited to be Guest Speaker at the 2023/2024 Security Audit Awards that held by the HEART Trust NTA on Wednesday May 1, 2024. The Director delivered a presentation on Anticorruption and Good Governance at the function.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of Department of Correctional Services on May 15, 2024, May 22, 2024, May 29, 2024 and May 30, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica on Friday May 31, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce on May 14 and 15, 2024. One of the sessions was on the Protected Disclosures Act, as such this session was held jointly with the Information and Complaints Division.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshop on the “Problem of Corruption” to select staff of the Urban Development Corporation on May 30, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Housing Agency of Jamaica HAJ on Friday May 17, 2024.

During the period under review the Director delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce at its Biannual Induction Training Seminar that was held on April 29, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the National Land Agency on April 3, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Urban Development Corporation on April 17, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the HAJ on April 26, 2024 and April 12, 2024.

During the period under review the Division facilitated delivery of a presentation on Ethics and Governance to new staff of the IC. This was held over the period March 11, 2024 to March 15, 2024.

During the period under review the Division commenced and concluded its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops training intervention for staff of the Commission. The training commenced on February 1, 2023 and concluded in March 2024 with delivery to all Divisions and Units of the Commission, to include, Corporate Services, Information Technology and Business Process, Finance and Accounts, the Executive Office, the Investigation, Corruption Prosecution, Corruption Prevention and Information and Complaints Division. Staff were sensitized in respect of Module 1- The Problem of Corruption, Module 2 – Overview of Jamaica’s Anticorruption Framework and Module 3 Principles of Good Governance and Integrity in Government, Public Office and Public Life with a special focus on Conflicts in Interest.

During the period under review the Division delivered virtually its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the OUR on February 28 2024, March 1, 2024 and March 13, 2024.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the HAJ on March 22, 2024.

During the period under review the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to the 84th intake of new Correctional Officers on March 8, 2024.

During the period under review the Division facilitated through the Information and Complaints Division a presentation on Statutory Declarations to Correctional Officers on March 11, 2024.

During the period under review the Division coordinated thru the Information and Complaints Division a delivery on Statutory Declarations to select staff of the Urban Development Corporation on February 28 2024.

During the period under review the Division through the Information and Complaints Division facilitated delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training with delivery of the module on Statutory Declarations to select staff of Jamaica Customs on January 15, 2024.

During the period under review the Division commenced delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the Port Authority of Jamaica. Sessions were held on October 12, 26 2023 continued into November and concluded in December 2023. It is noted that Modules 1 to 12 were delivered.

During the period under review the Division coordinated with the Investigation Division for the delivery of Module 4: Public Procurement Overview, Module 5: Other critical areas involving the IC’s Oversight and Module 6: Investigating Allegations of Corruption on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the Island Traffic Authority on Tuesday December 5, 2023.

The Division commenced delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to employees of the Bank of Jamaica on September 29, 2023. The sessions continued throughout October 2023 and concluded in November 2023.

During the period under review the Division continued delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of Jamaica Customs. This intervention was held on November 23, 2023.

During the period under review the Division continued delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the EXIM Bank. These interventions were held on November 8, 2023 and November 10, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered Investigation technique training to an internal Information and Complaints team on November 9 2023.

During the period under review the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to select staff of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce at its induction training seminar. This intervention was held on November 1, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered specialized training on the Investigation Module on the Designated Officers Programme to select staff of the Information and Complaints Division. This session was held on October 5 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the Factories Corporation of Jamaica on October 3, 2023.

The Division commenced delivery of its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to employees of the Bank of Jamaica on September 29, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the Factories Corporation of Jamaica. Interventions were done on Tuesday July 11, 2023, Thursday July 13, 2023, July 19, 2023, July 26, 2023, September 20, 2023 and September 26, 2023.

The Division coordinated the presentation by the Commission in conjunction with the Investigation Division at the MOJ led Contractors Virtual Sensitization Seminar that was held on Thursday September 21 2023.

The Division delivered training on the Information and Complaints led Protected Disclosures Act Training programme over the period September 18-22, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of Jamaica Customs on August 30, 2023, September 11 and September 4, 2023.

During the period under review the Division presented on the theme “Bribery, Corruption, Managing the Risk, Conflict of Interest” at a Caribbean Regional Drug Law Enforcement Training Centre – REDTRAC Regional Anticorruption Seminar that was held over the period September 11-15, 2023. The Division also facilitated the participation of the Information and Complaints Division at the seminar and who made a presentation on the Protected Disclosures Act

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the National Land Agency on Tuesday August 29, 2023.

The Information and Complaints Division also delivered their presentation on the Protected Disclosures Act.

During the period under review the Division resumed its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training which had commenced in FY 2022/2023 with select staff from the Jamaica Customs. Three session were held in June 2023, that is, June 5, 2023, June 19, 2023 and June 28, 2023.

During the period under review the Division resumed its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training which had commenced in FY 2022/2023 with select staff from the GC Foster College. This intervention was held on Monday June 26, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of the Jamaica Railway Corporation on Monday June 19, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training to select staff of First Global Bank on Wednesday June 14, 2023.

During the period under review the Division resumed its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training with the Ministry of Justice with delivery of an intervention to select staff on Friday June 9, 2023.

During the period under review the Division resumed its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance training which had commenced in FY 2022/2023 with select personnel from the Ministry of Industry Investment and Commerce. This intervention was held on Wednesday June 7, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered a session on Ethics and Conflicts of Interest to select personnel of the Investigation Division, Integrity Commission on June 6, 2023.

The Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for select staff of the Jamaica Mortgage Bank on Wednesday May 31, 2023 and Thursday June 1 2023.

The Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff assigned to the Jamaica Ultimate Tyre Company on May 18, 2023.

The Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff assigned to the National Land Agency on May 16, 2023.

During the period under review the Division coordinated the delivery of a module on the Protected Disclosures Act to a cohort of the ICAJ, same was done by the Information and Complaints Division on Tuesday May 16, 2023.

The Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff assigned to the Water Resources Authority on May 1 2023.

The Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff assigned to the Development Bank of Jamaica over a multiplicity of sessions that were held in May 2023, some in conjunction with the Information and Complaints Division and the Investigation Division.

During the period under review the Division coordinated the delivery of a module on Procurement and the Investigative process by the Investigation Division to select staff of the NIC on Thursday April 20, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anticorruption and Good Governance Module on the Information and Complaints Division led Protected Disclosures Officers Training Programme that was held over the period April 17-21 2023, May 01 – 05, 2023 and May 05 – 08, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered on Wednesday April 5, 2023 a session on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to select staff of Celebrations Brands Limited –a joint venture company of Red Stripe and Pepsi Cola Jamaica Limited.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to the Board of Directors and Senior Executives of the Jamaica Mortgage Bank on Wednesday March 29, 2023. The presentation also included delivery on the Protected Disclosures Act by representatives of the Information and Complaints Division.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance at an induction ceremony for new officers of the MIIC. This presentation was done on Monday March 27, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff of the NLA on March 21, 2023.

During the period under review the Division coordinated delivery of a presentation on Statutory Declarations to select staff of the GC Foster including the Principal on Monday March 20, 2023.

During the period under review the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff of the NIC on Friday March 17, 2023. The Division also coordinated the delivery of a module on Statutory Declarations to select NIC staff on Thursday March 16, 2023.

The Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to a cohort of ICAJ members on Friday March 3 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered in conjunction with the Information and Complaints, Investigation and Prosecution Divisions modules 4 to 12 of the Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials at the Office of the Public Defender on February 28 and March 1 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered training to select staff and new graduands of the Department of Correctional Services on Monday February 27, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered an anticorruption and good governance presentation to newly appointed members of the Board of Directors of the Casino Gaming Commission and its Senior Executives on Tuesday February 21, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff including the Principal and Chairman of the GC Foster College on Monday February 13, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its anticorruption and good governance workshops to select staff of the Ministry of Justice on Friday January 27, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its anticorruption and good governance workshops to select Senior Executives of the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority to include its Acting CEO on Thursday January 12, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials to select staff of the Jamaica Customs on January 16, 2023 in respect of modules 1 to 3 and January 12, 2023 in respect of a presentation on Statutory Declarations, this latter session was jointly done with the Information and Complaints Division. Other sessions were held on February 6, 2023 and February 13, 2023 in respect of a presentation on Statutory Declarations, these latter sessions re Statutory Declarations was jointly done with the Information and Complaints Division. Sessions were also conducted on March 6, 2023, March 20, 2023 and March 24, 2023.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to a cohort of the general membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica on Friday December 2, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce and its associated agencies including the Administrator Generals Department, the Antidumping and Subsidies Commission and the Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency on Tuesday November 29, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select members of the Jamaica Police Federation on Friday November 25, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select members of the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau of the JCF on Thursday November 24, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to staff of the Jamaica Dairy Development Board on November 23, 2022 to include the Acting CEO.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials over the three-day period Wednesday November 16 2022 to Friday November 18, 2022 the Division delivered its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops to more or less the full staff complement of the National Irrigation Commission. The participants included the CEO of the National Irrigation Commission (NIC) and his Senior Executives.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to Board members associated with various agencies of the Ministry of Transport and Mining on Wednesday November 16 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select staff of the NLA on Wednesday November 16, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select Public Officials aligned to the Ministry of Justice on November 4, 2022 and November 15 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered a presentation on Anti-Corruption and Good Governance to Executive Staff of the Jamaica Information Service including its CEO on November 8, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to staff of the Sports Development Foundation on November 2, 2022.

The Director of Corruption Prevention and the Director of Investigation jointly delivered a presentation on Anticorruption, Good Governance and the Investigative Process to a cohort of Officers on a Defence Academy of the United Kingdom Building Integrity UK Programme Workshop that was held on Wednesday November 2 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered training on its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops to select Senior Executives of the HEART Trust including its Executive Director on Monday November 14, 2022. A similar session was held on November 1, 2022 for staff associated with the Procurement Division of the HEART Trust NTA.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to officials at the National Water Commission on Wednesday October 26 and Thursday October 27 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to officials at the Firearm License Authority (FLA) on Thursday October 27, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division in collaboration with the Information and Complaints and Corruption Prosecution Divisions delivered Module 6 - Statutory Declarations, Module 7 - Protected Disclosures Act – Whistleblowing, Module 8 - Reporting Allegations of Corruption, Module 10 - Prosecuting Allegations of Corruption, Module 11 - Overview of Corruption Offences in Jamaica and Module 12 - International Best Practices in Anti- Corruption and Anti-Bribery to Senior Executives of the Ministry including the Permanent Secretary on Friday October 14, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Director delivered a presentation on “The purview of the Integrity Commission and the Anti-Corruption and Good Governance initiative for Public Sector workers” to new employees of the Ministry of Industry Investment and Commerce on Monday October 3, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division during the period under review delivered select modules to all staff of the Office of the Political Ombudsman and associate groupings including their JCF liaison officers, members of their youth arm and the Political Awareness and Respect Initiative on Thursday September 29, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division jointly with the Investigation Division facilitated a delivery on September 21, 2022 to select staff of the National Works Agency (NWA) on the Anticorruption framework, the Contract Reporting System (CRS) and the Contracts Cost Overruns and Variations (CCOV) in furtherance of the NWA’s need to accurately complete the IC’s referenced reports. 

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to a select group of officials of the Coconut Industry Board on Thursday September 15, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to all staff of the Office of the Public Defender on Friday September 9, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division in collaboration with the Investigation Division delivered select modules to Senior Officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to include the Permanent Secretary on September 9, 2022.

Through its Anticorruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to officials at the Ministry of Justice on Wednesday August 17, 2022 and Wednesday August 24, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered a presentation on Good Governance at the OPM’s Topical Issues and Educational Forum that was held for select staff of both Ministries. This was delivered on August 12 2022. This presentation also included representation from the Information and Complaints Division.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to Officials assigned to the Firearm Licensing Authority on Tuesday June 14 2022, Tuesday June 21 2022, Friday June 24, 2022, Friday July 8, 2022 and Tuesday July 12, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules to Officials of the Jamaica Antidoping Commission on July 1, 2022. This session was a joint session with representatives of the Information and Complaints, Investigation, Corruption Prosecution and Corruption Prevention Divisions.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division jointly with the Investigation Division delivered a presentation on The work of the Integrity Commission and General Procurement Matters to the Ministry of Justice Contractors' Sensitization Session that was held on Friday June 24, 2022.

Through its Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Workshops for Public Officials the Division delivered select modules for members of the Senior Management team including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on Friday June 17, 2022.
