Ms. Joeth V. Jones, JP; MBa, BBA(Hons)

 

Ms. Joeth V. Jones is an experienced public sector executive and respected anti-corruption expert who currently serves as the Director of Information and Complaints at the Integrity Commission, having been appointed by His Excellency the Governor General on November 3, 2025. In her current role, Ms. Jones has statutory responsibility for the receipt and examination of statutory declarations, which are submitted by public officials, as well as the management of complaints and protected disclosures.

With over 15 years of progressive experience in governance, procurement, and integrity systems management, Ms. Jones has built a distinguished career. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (Honours) from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Her professional training includes specialized certifications in forensic accounting, data protection, advanced public sector procurement, and executive public management.

Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Jones served as the Manager of Declarations at the Integrity Commission of Jamaica, where she held portfolio responsibility for the statutory declarations process for public officials, ensuring transparency, accountability, and greater compliance across government.

Additionally, Ms. Jones held senior roles including Technical Services Manager for the Public Procurement Commission Secretariat and Director of Corporate Services at the Integrity Commission, where she provided high-level oversight to Specialist Sector Committees, managed the Registration of Goods and Services Suppliers, and contributed to major organizational reforms, digital transformation initiatives, and the Commission’s inaugural Anti-Corruption Conference. Her professional career in anti-corruption practices began in public procurement at NMIA Airports Limited, where she developed strong expertise in fair and competitive sourcing practices.

Ms. Jones is recognized for her ability to design and implement systems that strengthen institutional integrity, from decentralizing statutory declaration intake island-wide to advancing electronic applications that modernize public sector processes. Her leadership style is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to building a corruption-free Jamaica.

Beyond her technical expertise, Ms. Jones is passionate about youth development and cancer awareness in Jamaica. She enjoys volunteering with groups which provide support to youth education and cancer awareness.
