The Commission’s Director of Corruption Prosecution, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 34(1)(a) and 34(1)(b) of the Integrity Commission Act, has reviewed the subject Report and, upon careful consideration, has determined that that Mr. George Callaghan, former CEO of the Sugar Industry Authority, should be charged for breach of section 43(2)(a) of the Integrity Commission Act for Knowingly Making a False Statement in a Statutory Declaration for the periods ending December 31, 2018; December 31, 2019 and December 31, 2020.
